Sign up now to visit David Maxwell’s Heritage Apple Orchard – an amazing collection of 51 different heritage apple varieties. Come experience David’s passion for these rare apples as he describes their uses and characteristics, while enjoying the colours, flavours and textures of the many varieties available for sampling. There will also be an emphasis on cider apples and cider making. John Brett of Tideview Cider will be there to share his perspective on cider. Lunch will be provided by Mathew Krizan, award winning owner and chef of Mateus Bistro in Mahone Bay, that will feature Indian Point scallops, (non-shellfish option available.) Event attendance is limited so sign up soon.
